Does Stripe work in Zambia?

No. Stripe does not support businesses registered in Zambia. Zambia is not on Stripe’s list of supported countries, making it unavailable as a payment gateway for locally registered businesses. This is the primary reason payment gateway selection is a recurring topic for Zambian developers — the default international option is not an option here.

Alternatives

The following workarounds are available, listed by prevalence:
